Almost one-fourth of classes in TU Japan are still in-person, but many Tokyo owls are taking charge of the switch online. Our reporter Hannah Seewald spoke to students and faculty
halfway around the world to learn more.

LIVING with Bipolar Disorder

"LIVING with Bipolar Disorder," a short film produced by Panic Ball Productions, is a fictional depiction of the Bipolar experience and written based on interviews with people with the disorder. The performer is an actor, not a person with bipolar disorder.
Presenting an insight into this often ignored world, the film exists to bring awareness and understanding of the disorder for Mental Health Awareness Month.

「バイポーラーと共に生きていくこと」の脚本は、双極性障害を持つ人々と協力して、
実際の経験に基づいて書かれたものです。主演俳優のパフォーマンスはすべて演技で、フィクションです。

この作品は2022年5月、米国メンタルヘルス月間に合わせてリリースされ、バイポーラー(双極性障害)の実体験感覚の映像化にチャレンジしたプロジェクトです。繰り返す心の状態を『視覚的』『聴覚的』に表現し、視聴者の方にも感覚を仮体験してもらうことでメンタルヘルスへの認知や理解、共感が広がることを期待しています。

Fuyuhito (Yuki Tamura) takes a trip out to the countryside to spend quality time with his wife Seika (Kana Kitty), they're hoping to mend their struggling marriage. Fuyuhito begins having surreal dreams where he occupies other people's bodies. As Fuyuhito unknowingly commits wicked acts while in control of others, his relationship with his wife spirals out of control.

Was chosen to voice-act a small segment in this video to aid in preparation for the Paralympics.

domestic violence, child abuse, harassment, prostitution, multiple debts, suicide, and even underground troubles involving crime & politics. Most of them can NOT be solved by normal support organizations. Gen Hidemori 玄 秀盛 (Hidemori Gen), founder of Japanese NPO “Nippon Kakekomidera”, proposes his own concept, cultivated through 18 years: “SUKUU”.
